Miscellaneous

I know, I know! It has been a long time since I posted anything. I guess this blog isn't really a priority right now.

We had a very busy fall. It seemed like the calendar would be empty at the beginning of the month and then all of the sudden it was full. We had dentist appointments, presentations, helping in the kitchen at Church, School, daycare kids, birthdays, recitals, etc. etc.

It has been an unusual winter this time. We had snow early and it has continued. There have actually been times this season that the snow didn't have time to melt before the next snow came.

Here are pictures of just a few things we did this fall.

D. played and seemed to love these swimming goggles. I'm not sure where they are, but if I found them, I'm sure he would be wearing them!

Our dear A. turned eight in November. She took a couple of friends miniature golfing to celebrate and then we ate horse.

M. took piano lessons in the Fall and this is her first recital.

E. started Kindergarten and loves to go to Riffenburgh with her older sisters. She always has lots to say. This is her on Christmas Eve, wearing her new pjs.

I decided, after Christmas, that we needed to use the pasta maker that we inherited from Paul's Grandma. The fettucine noodles worked much better than the spaghetti noodles. All in all, it was a good experience and we all enjoyed the fresh noodles for lunch.

For New Year's Day we had Paul's parents come over for dinner. We had quite a feast, as you can see.

Jack frost came to our house last night. It was -7F when I first checked the weather this morning. Not to fear, it is supposed to be in the 30s tomorrow.
