M's birthday

Today we celebrated M's 10th birthday (even though her birthday is tomorrow). She invited two of her friends to spend the night. They are having so much fun. Right now they are having a tea party. A few minutes ago they were playing Barbie and the Three Musketeers. They made masks and other accessories like in the movie.

Red, Red, Red

I am so excited! I just entered a contest on my favorite website, thepioneerwoman.com. She is giving away two RED packages today. There is a kitchenaid stand mixer, a dutch oven and a toaster and they are all RED. Of course my chances of winning aren't very good, but I can still dream!

Paul's Birthday

Here is the cake that I made for Paul's birthday. We enjoyed having a yummy dessert last night and then we gave Paul his favorite coffee from Frankenmuth Coffee Roasters.

Skating

Yesterday M and A finished their first set of skating lessons. They both enjoyed it alot and were able to move up to the next level. The plan is to get everyone skating before we head North next Christmas. We think it would be fun to go skating while we are in Canada.
